Mock Strawberry. This wild species is a good ground cover plant. Its leaves resemble those of true wild strawberries. However, this species has yellow flowers and its berries do not taste like ordinary strawberries at all. When unripe, the berries are rather bland, but when fully ripe, they become slightly sweet with a taste reminiscent of watermelon.
