One of the tastiest and sweetest strawberries! This cultivar is a hybrid between garden and musk strawberries. “Kupchikha” means “merchant's wife” in Russian: in the past, a merchant's wife was often imagined as a full-figured woman. The berries of “Kupchikha” are indeed good-sized. They are also irregular in shape and they have a surprising feature: their ends almost never ripen. The berries have a firm texture, making them easy to store and transport. The plant has specific, somewhat wrinkled leaves. “Kupchikha” has proven to be disease-resistant, productive, and capable of growing in the same place for about 5 years.
