Rubus parvifolius is a species native to Australia and East Asia. It has an ordinary appearance and no ornamental value. However, the Japanese cultivar “Ogon” has very attractive golden leaves. Its foliage is particularly bright in partial shade. “Ogon” is very suitable as a ground cover or climbing plant. It produces sweet and sour red berries.
